Deansteel standard bullet resistant doors are manufactured from 12 gauge cold rolled steel with a ballistic plate as required. All standard doors are thoroughly cleaned and phosphatized to inhibit corrosion and increase paint adherence. A one coat primer provides further protection from corrosion and serves as an excellent base for field painting. Deansteel also has flush bullet resistant doors available with UL-10B and 10C fire labels with 3 hour, 1 ½ hour, ¾ hour, and 20 minute ratings.
Door hardware preparations include 4 ½” or 5” heavy duty butt or continuous hinges. Lock preparations include cylindrical government series 161, government series 86 mortise blank, rim, and vertical rod exit device reinforcement.” |
